On Sunday 15th May 2022, the club was able to come to together in three sittings to hold their annual presentation at The Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury.

The day saw all teams coming together for the first time since Covid 19. The event was sponsored by Bloor Homes.

Bloor Homes have generously given their support to the club by sponsoring our annual presentation award for this season. By taking an active part in the community of Tewkesbury its donation has enabled us to automatically secure not only this year's event, but also next seasons as well.

Historically Bloor Homes have been active in individual teams' sponsorship throughout the years and continue to do so. With this more substantial offer it gives us great pleasure to further that connection between Bloor Homes and the Football club, and therefore grow the partnership of creating a valued and mutual appreciation of Family homes and sport that benefit the community of Tewkesbury not only now but for future generations to come.

Steve Roberts, Managing Director at Bloor Homes’ Western region based in Tewkesbury, said: “It gives us real pleasure to support Tewkesbury Town Colts Football Club and be a part of these special celebrations at the Roses Theatre after such a long time.

"Sport plays such an important part in the lives of Tewkesbury’s young people and is made possible through the dedication of a team of volunteers at the Football Club. Well done to them and to all the players on a great season.”

James Heath, Club Chairman, said on the day,

"It's not lost on all of us that in the last couple of years the community has had to deal with a very different way of life with the conditions Covid had brought to our lives. Suddenly everything we took for granted became a sharp reality to how it can be taken all away from us in the blink of an eye.

Although we seem to be getting back to some kind of normality, the effects of isolation cannot be underestimated into the effects it has had on all of us. Especially the children. Not being able to play, learn and most importantly socialise physically with their peers, is a truly challenging time when you’re young. This isn't the normal parameters that children grow up in when you or I were young. From U5s to U17s no matter the difference in age, they were still finding themselves in who they were at that time.

So, to see the return of football and sport as a whole was a welcome relief to us all. I'm sure I speak for the majority of us all when I say, never before have I been more overjoyed and prouder of the children when they returned to partake in football activities again. A definite release of frustration and energy exploded onto those football pitches. Kids laughing, being silly, working together, working for each other. Giving it everything on the pitch, and support off it. So, let's remember all those things we took for granted when taken away from us. And marvel at what these amazing kids have done. A time to celebrate the achievements and endeavour of these players and most importantly know that they did their best. And that was more than anyone can ask for."

On behalf of the Executive & Social Committee, we would like to thank you all for attending and being a part of the event!
