With a tough week last week, our Under 15s team faced Pershore Town in their first home game of the season!
The Colts started positively with a lot of pressure on Pershore however, it seemed that the final part was not working for them. With Tewkesbury working hard for possession of the ball everyone knew that this could be a tough game but, that didn't stop this Tewkesbury team attempting to break Pershore down.
With what seemed a lucky break, Pershore took their oppourtunity to steal a goal. Tewkesbury knowing that they didn't deserve that goal hitting the net. A slightly deflated Tewkesbury picked their heads up and went again.
After a good attack which forced the Pershore defender to put the ball out for a corner, Tewkesbury needed to take this chance to bring it back to a level playing field again, however, Pershore clear their lines once again.
With Tewkesbury knowing half time was fast approaching they needed to attack again. This time drawing a foul by one of Pershore defenders which lead to a free-kick just ousite of the box. This was put in the box nicely with Tewkesbury doing everything they can to get in the net. After a few smashes by the attackers, Pershore cleared their lines once again.

Tewkesbury started the second half reasonably well, similar to the first half they worked hard to find the space on the pitch, the boys seemed to be up for this second half. After a good attack, Pershore cleared theirs lines once again.
Tewkesbury starting to feel that this game isn't going to go their way, however, the determination is really strong. Tewkesbury lost possession of the ball in their own half and Pershore following their ways, took another opportunity.

Well into the second half Tewkesbury plays a ball over the top and the Pershore keeper committed which lead to Tewkesbury's number 5 taking that chance to put the scoreline 3-1, would there be enough time for Tewkesbury to get back into this game?
With chance after chance seemingly slipping away for Tewkesbury to attempt to get back in control of this game, the players didn't seem to stop chasing the ball down.
