We are recruiting a Welfare Officer

Do you want to work within the community? Do you want a vital role to ensure the safety of our players? Well, we may have the role for you!

As our club welfare officer you will work with the club officials particularly with our teams coaches/managers to ensure they are carrying out their duty of care when running football activities for children. Most importantly, you will be the main point of contact for the our players if they have any concerns about the way they are being treated.

To be effective as welfare officer it’s vital that everyone in your club/league knows who you are and how you can be contacted, especially the players, parents and coaches. You should sit on the club/league committee and as a club welfare officer you should know your coaches and managers.

Responsibilities - Welfare Officers must:

1. Be clear about the club’s/league’s responsibilities when running activities for children and young people.

2. Help club/league personnel to recognise that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and to actively play their part.

If you would like to know any more information about the role and are interested, please do get in touch with us via media@ttcfc.co.uk
